I love holiday/season themed decorations in my classroom. It gives the room a more home-y feel and gets the kids excited about the events.
For the month of December, the door was an excitement for every kid who saw it. I created a Christmas tree from paper chains! How much easier can it get, seriously?! To add a little more excitement, I used scrap paper and old gift bows to make 22 (I think) “gifts”. On each “gift” I wrote either a child’s name or a teacher’s name until everyone in our classroom had a gift. I then added a big red bow to the top. It was perfect and everyone loved it.
